26. Use of birth control

In our country the use of contraceptive methods is low because many cases of pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases in minors and very young adults are presented.

The average is 149,000 pregnancies per year among younger people between 10 and 19 years. (El Universal Cartagena, 2016). These figures are worrying as this means that young people are not well educated in the use of contraceptive methods and do not analyze situations to avoid contracting diseases or unwanted pregnancies.

It is relevant to the use of contraceptive methods in our company because it does not affect the industry or the production of our products.
