Size of government budgets

The size of the government budget is important for the development of the country as it is used to invest in infrastructure, education, health, culture, etc. For this year's budget is $ 215.9 billion. (Dnp.gov.co, 2016). Unfortunately for 2016 there was a cut of $ 6 billion pesos. One reason is the price of a barrel of oil. (El Tiempo, 2016).

It is a benefit for us that investment in agriculture is highly significant because it helps peasants and farmers to improve the quality of products and hence of our own.

To conclude, the percentage of investments in agriculture increased over previous years and benefits us as we acquire better quality products to give our customers more benefits and healthy products.
