35. Regional Changes in Taste and Preference

Colombia is considered a multicultural country and every region has its tastes and food preferences. For example, in the Orinoco Region the meat is an indispensable dish for those people or the daily coffee for the coffee zone of Colombia.

In the Caribbean Coast we can find fruits like “Coroso” and coconut in plenty, or a lot of pineapple in the Andean area and finally fruits like “Lulo” or “Caña de Azucar” that we can find in the Pacific coast (Colombia Travel, 2016).

​

Finally, with this different taste data our industry can determinate which fruits sell in each one of the regions, this could be very benefit for us because we can earn more benefits using the traditional fruits of the regions.
