25. Racial equality

In Colombia it has always been racial discrimination, but has been declining at over the years. In recent years, actions have been implemented by the government to eradicate this problem and give more opportunity for ethnic groups and people of all races living in the country.
‘’ Colombia is the largest source of Latin American refugees in Latin America, nearly 400,000 of whom live primarily in Venezuela and Ecuador. Forced displacement remains prevalent because of violence among guerrillas, paramilitary groups, and Colombian security forces. Afro-Colombian and indigenous populations are disproportionately affected.’’ (Cia.gov, 2016)
