Location and severity of terrorist activities
The armed conflict in Colombia dates back about 50 years, and since its inception has had terrorist background and damage to the country. Started by a political rivalry but over the years was becoming terror and slaughter. This conflict has affected the whole country but especially the peasants and farmers, as many of them have been recruited to serve the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia and other massacred and displaced by violence.
‘’The UN Fund for Children (UNICEF) reported that more than 250,000 children have been affected in Colombia since the government of that country and the main armed opposition group, the FARC began peace talks three years ago.’’ (Unmultimedia.org, 2016). It is an alarming figure since the right to minors to study and grow as people are deprived. It is a serious violation of rights that takes more than five decades in our country.
Besides, we can see from the chart that the number of victims of the armed conflict has decreased since the takeover of power of the current president Juan Manuel Santos:

To summarize, the conflict in Colombia is already affecting us that our allies are farmers who are at risk of being displaced by violence and problems with the military to transport their products because they have to pay 'vaccines'' that are certain taxes that require these forces to secure mobility of these people in their areas.
