ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION LAWS
Another important consideration over the businesses that are made in these days, is the environment, protecting the environment of each country, and also the creating the good image of the every company that is trying to create for their consumers, so that all of the activities may be not only legal, but also creating a positive impact with the environment and the natural resources that may use to be productive.
In Colombia the law that is looking for the environmental protection refers no only to one document crated with the original constitution of the country, but it actually involves other normative implementations that have taken place since that moment, and other events.
The first creation of those laws were given in the year 1971 with the impression of the necessity of taking care of the wetlands that are placed specially in Bogotá. The second important registrations that were made during the Colombian history is the constitution of 1991, with the formal establishment of a document that refers to the nature and its protection. It specially focuses in the well- being of the Colombian citizens, in that sense the idea that is reinforced in the articles that refer to this issue are shown in the next article: “Artículo 366. El bienestar general y el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de la población son finalidades sociales del Estado. Será objetivo fundamental de su actividad la solución de las necesidades insatisfechas de salud, de educación, de saneamiento ambiental y de agua potable”. (SECRETARÍA DISTRITAL DE AMBIENTE)
During the next years of development of the vision and necessity of the creation of the environmental care, there have been created some resolutions that give special attention to the plans of the environmental management of the wetlands.
It is important to mention that the laws that have been created through the years have taken into account the process of Colombia with the commercial relations that is trying to establish, in that sense, the norms have include some important issues that the companies have to adopt.
To conclude, in Colombia, there is a concern of the protection of the environment that has been expressed in the norms of the country, by trying to keep caring about the national resources.
